The Defence Headquarters has affirmed its commitment to collaborating with various security agencies and stakeholders to pursue kidnapping syndicates within the region.
Edward Buba, the Director, Defence Media Operations, provided this assurance in the weekly armed forces operations report released on Friday in Abuja.

Acknowledging the profound impact of kidnappings on affected families and the heightened concern among residents, Buba highlighted the military’s intensified efforts.
The armed forces have prioritized areas with frequent kidnapping incidents, employing increased ground and air surveillance, technology, and heightened operational tempo to locate, weaken, and eliminate these criminal elements.

Buba assured citizens that, though complete solutions may not be immediate, the armed forces are unwavering in their commitment to addressing the challenging situation.
Troops are collaborating with security services to gather intelligence on kidnapping gangs, particularly in the FCT and its environs.
