Rapper Kanye West is facing a lawsuit for alleged assault and battery from a fan who sought an autograph in 2022.
The incident reportedly occurred at DTLA, where the fan claims Kanye threatened him, stating, “I’m going to make a f***ing example of you,” in reference to his divorce from Kim Kardashian, and then physically assaulted him.

The fan alleges that, after requesting an apology, Kanye responded with “Apology for what?” and proceeded to strike him multiple times, causing severe injuries.
According to the fan, when someone with Kanye intervened, he shouted at them, demanding they “go to the fing house and get my fing kids.”
The lawsuit seeks damages, with the plaintiff claiming to be a victim of assault and battery, experiencing emotional distress.

The fan’s wife is suing for a loss of consortium, asserting that she lost the companionship of her husband due to the incident with Kanye.
