Sowore confronts Tinubu on alleged anti-people policies

Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the last general election, Omoyele Sowore, made damning allegations on Wednesday, asserting that President Bola Tinubu harbors a concealed agenda detrimental to impoverished Nigerians.

Sowore claimed that the President’s intention is to “completely wipe the struggling people of Nigeria off the face of the earth.”

The accusations arose in the aftermath of a clash between the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited and fuel marketers, represented by the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, over the removal of subsidy on petrol, as reported on Tuesday.

This development occurred against the backdrop of the naira’s depreciation against the United States dollar in both the official Investors and Exporters Window and the parallel market.

Expressing his concerns on his social media handle, Sowore posted, “The agenda of @officialABAT and his illegitimate regime is to completely wipe the struggling people of Nigeria off the face of the earth, and he won’t stop until he is stopped.

This is January 2024, a good month for the final #RevolutionNow struggle to commence.”
