South Africa accuses Israel of violating its obligations under the Genocide Convention, claiming that Israel’s actions are genocidal in character with the intent to destroy Palestinians in Gaza.

Israel has rejected these allegations, asserting that they lack both factual and legal basis.

The United States President, Joe Biden, recently expressed concern over what he referred to as “indiscriminate bombing” by Israel in Gaza.
