I am sure Akeredolu is in Heaven – Jimoh Ibrahim

Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, representing Ondo South Senatorial District, offered comforting words to the family of the late Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, urging them not to mourn during his condolence visit to Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu on Friday, December 29, at their Ibadan residence.

Jimoh Ibrahim expressed confidence that the former Ondo state Governor is destined for heaven based on his exemplary deeds during his lifetime, emphasizing that the pain of death is diminished when there is certainty about one’s entry into heaven.

Senator Ibrahim conveyed his sentiments, stating, “It is normal for us to cry when we lose our loved ones, but Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s death is not painful.

Death is only painful when you are not sure of heaven. So, Aketi’s death is not painful because he’ll surely make heaven.”

He encouraged consolation through reflection on the late governor’s positive impact and relationships with people from all walks of life.

Senator Ibrahim highlighted Akeredolu’s people-oriented programs during his tenure as the governor of Ondo State and his commitment to advocating for people’s rights pro bono as a Senior Advocate.

He acknowledged Akeredolu’s efforts in promoting true federalism in Nigeria, expressing the sentiment that the loss would be deeply felt for a considerable period.
