Auto crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway claimed the lives of at least two individuals, while six others sustained injuries.

Mrs. Florence Okpe, the spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun State, revealed this unfortunate incident.

The accident involved a Toyota bus carrying eight passengers.

Okpe attributed the crash to overspeeding, stating that the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the tragic event.

“The vehicle crashed on the road barrier due to speeding and loss of control,” she explained.

The injured victims were promptly transported to a hospital in Mowe, Ogun, while the deceased have been placed in the morgue, according to Okpe.
