Abraham Basif Omaye has tragically died just three days before his scheduled wedding. Abraham and his fiancée, Praise Enyojo Ahmodu, were eagerly anticipating their wedding ceremony set to take place on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the CEFN English Church in Abejukolo village, Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The couple had planned their engagement ceremony for Friday, December 22, at the bride’s compound in Abejukolo. However, the joyous occasion has been overshadowed by the sudden loss of Abraham.

Friends and family members, grappling with the unexpected tragedy, turned to social media platforms, particularly Facebook, on Wednesday, December 20, to express their grief and pay tribute to the departed.

Among the mourners, Theophilus Ugbede Baba shared his sorrow, reflecting on the untimely passing of a young and promising man.

He revealed the shock of realizing that his recent hospital visit to Abraham would be their last meeting on Earth, expressing the somber contrast between the congratulatory messages he had intended to share and the painful reality of bidding farewell to a loved one.
