In the Olota area of the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos, a man has been accused of murdering his wife on Thursday, December 14, allegedly due to her failure to prepare his meal.
Upon returning from work that day, the man reportedly discovered that his wife had only prepared noodles.

In response, he purportedly struck her on the crown of her head with a heavy object and proceeded to beat her severely.
He left his injured wife at home and went out.
A neighbour later contacted the husband to inform him that his wife was experiencing convulsions.
According to reports, the husband and other neighbours attempted to rush the convulsing wife to the hospital, but she passed away during transit.
Following the incident, the deceased victim’s brother reported the matter to the Meiran Police Division, leading to the arrest of the husband.
The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.
While the brother alleged that the husband killed his sister, there is uncertainty about the exact circumstances.
The police have indicated that they will continue their investigation to ascertain if the husband was responsible for the wife’s fatal injuries.
Despite challenges in gathering information from reluctant neighbours, the police remain committed to uncovering the truth.

The deceased’s family reportedly buried her according to Islamic rites, and even the father forgave the son-in-law, although the brother insists on the husband’s culpability.
The case awaits further investigation and adjudication by the district unit to determine the accuracy of the claims.
