Nigerian artist, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi, has expressed his admiration for the legendary musician Innocent Ujah Idibia, also known as 2Baba, acknowledging him as his mentor.

In a recent episode of the Zero Conditions podcast on Pop Central, Peruzzi openly admitted to drawing inspiration from 2Baba’s lyrics and musical style, citing the influence of the “African Queen” crooner on his own work.

Peruzzi shared that he still incorporates elements from 2Baba into his music, highlighting the track “Amaka” as an example.

Peruzzi asserted his versatility as an artist, claiming to be a “special” talent capable of excelling in various aspects of music.
