I will never tolerate corruption – Adeleke

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, outlined his leadership principles, emphasizing a commitment to ethical leadership during a convocation at Valley View University in Accra, Ghana.

Receiving an honorary doctorate, Adeleke stressed the importance of embracing an ethical leadership model to foster excellence, integrity, and service in public governance, particularly in Africa.

He criticized the manipulation of elections by politicians and emphasized the need for leaders who uphold the rule of law and eschew corruption.

Adeleke shared his four rules of engagement as a governor: adherence to the rule of law, zero tolerance for corruption, commitment to good governance, and a fear of God in public leadership.

The university’s Vice Chancellor, Prof William Koomsion, cited Adeleke’s ethical leadership since assuming the governorship as a key factor in conferring the honorary degree.
