Afrobeat sensation Burna Boy reveals that his grandmother serves as the inspiration behind his song “Thanks,” featured on his seventh studio album, “I Told Them.”

In a recent post on his official platform, the Nigerian singer shared that the track was recorded based on his grandmother’s sentiments.

He explained that his grandmother, who initially urged him to return home, now anxiously inquires about his departure whenever he visits.

Burna Boy disclosed his plans for the upcoming Yuletide season, expressing his intention to spend December with his grandmother.
