Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, opened up about the challenges her heart faced this year.

The artist, who experienced heartbreak in July when her engagement to British boxer Ryan Taylor ended abruptly, reflected on her emotional journey.

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday, Cuppy, still grappling with the aftermath of her failed engagement, shared, “Meanwhile, you don’t have to check Spotify; my heart was the most played this year.”

The disclosure comes in the wake of DJ Cuppy addressing her failed engagement during a Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ) conference in London.

She acknowledged the setback, stating, “Last year I got engaged, and I am no longer engaged, but such is life, and I know my story is still happening, and there is more to come, and I am okay with the uncertainties.”
