Recalling a distressing incident, Aigbe described an encounter with a producer in Surulere who had invited her for an audition in his office after expressing her passion for acting.

Despite successfully passing three stages of the audition, she was offered a minor role that differed from the character she had initially auditioned for.

Expressing her dissatisfaction, Aigbe stated, “I told him that was not the character I was auditioning for, and he replied that the director said he did not know me, and that was why he wanted me to be close to him.”

The situation took a distressing turn when the producer stood up to make physical advances towards her. Aigbe, upset by the incident, contemplated leaving the industry altogether.

She recounted tearing the script and departing from the audition, reflecting on her decision as she cried on her way home.
