In Birnin-Kebbi, Hisbah State Commission operatives apprehended a 33-year-old man named Muhammad Dahiru for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.

The arrest occurred on Monday, December 11, 2023, and the suspect, hailing from Koko/Besse Local Government Area of the state, was accused of luring the minor into a bush where the assault took place.

Dahiru admitted to the crime and has since been transferred to the police for additional investigation and prosecution, according to a statement released on the Hisbah Facebook page.
