In a revelation during the ongoing annual Holy Ghost Congress of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Ogun State, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the church, shared his preferences for the manner in which he would like to pass away.
Speaking on Thursday, the cleric expressed his desire for a death reminiscent of that of one of his uncles.
Addressing the congregation, Pastor Adeboye pondered the common notion that being sick is a prerequisite for transitioning to heaven, asserting that good health is not a barrier to reaching heavenly abodes.

He recounted the incident involving his uncle, who, after a day of joyous activities at church and partaking in a light breakfast, unexpectedly passed away while his wife was preparing pounded yam.
Detailing the incident, Pastor Adeboye recounted how his uncle, after enjoying the morning’s festivities, decided to visit the toilet.
His wife, in the process of preparing pounded yam, later knocked on the toilet door only to discover that her husband had peacefully departed, without any forewarning of illness or distress.
