Following the arrest, Kodak Black was held in Broward County jail. However, as reported by NBC Miami, he managed to post bail on Thursday night.

It’s worth noting that in January 2021, former U.S. President Donald Trump commuted Black’s 46-month prison sentence for providing false information on federal forms to purchase firearms on the final day of his presidency.

The rapper has a history of legal issues, having served seven months in a Florida prison on charges including marijuana possession, child neglect, grand theft of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
