Forbes attributed Swift’s remarkable rise to her unprecedented economic, cultural, and political influence, highlighting the immense success of her Eras tour as a driving force.

The tour, which grossed nearly $850 million over 66 U.S. shows, played a pivotal role in elevating Swift to billionaire status in October, with her net worth now standing at an impressive $1.1 billion.

The publication emphasized Swift’s enduring impact in her 17-year career, stating, “17 years into her remarkable career, Swift has never had more economic, cultural, and political clout,” resulting in her significant climb from No. 79 in 2022 to the fifth position this year.

Despite this remarkable accomplishment, the title of the most powerful woman in the world for 2023 was bestowed upon European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
