Shittu emphasized that such direct interactions would provide an opportunity for people to express their concerns or criticisms directly to the President. He asserted that valuable insights could be gained from diverse perspectives, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the issues at hand.
The former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly stressed the need for sustained and regular engagement, cautioning against waiting until election periods to initiate such town hall meetings.
Shittu highlighted the significance of politicians in impacting a large number of people and urged Tinubu to personally dedicate time to address people’s complaints rather than relying solely on media aides.
