American rapper Lil Wayne, also known as Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., is facing a lawsuit from his former bodyguard, Carlos Christian.
Legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal Christian’s claims that Wayne, 41, not only punched him but also allegedly threatened him with a semiautomatic rifle during an altercation at Wayne’s Hidden Hills, CA home in December 2021.
Christian reportedly accused Wayne of brandishing an AR-15 and threatening to shoot him.

The lawsuit details that the rapper allegedly punched the bodyguard in the ear during the incident.
Wayne’s camp denies the incident, asserting that the artist doesn’t own a gun.
The bodyguard, taking the gun threat seriously, points to Wayne’s previous legal issues related to weapons charges.
Christian is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, citing medical expenses, lost wages, and emotional distress resulting from the alleged altercation.
The incident was initially reported to law enforcement as an assault with a deadly weapon at Wayne’s Hidden Hills residence around 1:40 pm.
Deputies responding to the call found a verbal altercation turned physical between a Hispanic male security guard and the black male resident, identified as Lil Wayne.
According to TMZ’s earlier report, a dispute arose when Wayne accused the guard of taking photos and leaking them to the media.
The guard claimed Wayne asked him to leave the house during the argument, but as he headed to the bathroom, Wayne allegedly pulled out an AR-15.

The guard fled to the gated community’s guard shack and called the police.
Upon police arrival, Lil Wayne was not at his $15.4 million home. Wayne strongly denied the accusations at the time, reiterating that he does not own a gun.
Sheriff’s deputies expressed skepticism about the guard’s story, noting the absence of visible injuries and the guard’s reluctance to press charges against the rapper.
