A suspect has been apprehended by the police in connection with the murder of Mrs. Juliana Dimaka, the owner of Testimony Supermarket in Eket, Akwa Ibom State.

The businesswoman was strangled to death at her home on October 17, 2023, at 8:00 p.m.

According to a reliable police source from the Eket Divisional Police Station, the suspect was traced to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where he had fled to avoid arrest.

Detectives from the Akwa Ibom Command successfully located and arrested the suspect in his friend’s apartment in Port Harcourt.

The spokesperson for the State Police Command, SP MacDon Odiko, neither confirmed nor denied the arrest at the time of contact, requesting additional information for verification.
