The President of Dubai Chamber, Mohammad Lootah, has revealed that the non-oil trade between Nigeria and Dubai hit $2.1 billion in 2022.
This announcement was made during the New Horizons Trade Mission in Nigeria, held in Lagos.
The event, themed “Doing Business with Nigeria,” was organized in collaboration with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce.

Lootah emphasized that establishing a presence in Nigeria is a significant achievement for Dubai International Chamber, providing a platform for cross-border partnerships in one of Africa’s leading economies.
The Lagos office marks the chamber’s seventh in Africa and 28th worldwide, aiming to strengthen economic ties and facilitate business opportunities between Dubai and Nigeria.
Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, highlighted the longstanding mutually beneficial relationship between Nigeria and the UAE, with Lagos playing a pivotal role in facilitating bilateral trade.
