Meek Mill confirms earning $1 million per song amidst rap industry discussions

American rapper Meek Mill has dismissed claims of rap’s decline, asserting that he continues to enjoy significant financial gains.

According to the artist, he rakes in at least $1 million for every song he records.

Taking to his Instagram page, Meek Mill confidently stated, “I’m getting a million a song… so that’s $62,500 every bar I speak… They say this rap sh*t dying must be on Billboard because it’s not to Meek!”

This declaration comes in the midst of discussions about the perceived decline of the rap genre.

Nigerian singer Wizkid recently stirred controversy by asserting that “hip-hop is dead,” sparking reactions from various hip-hop artists globally, including South African rapper Nasty C, M.I, Zoro Swagbag, and Oladips.
