In the Ikate area of Lekki, Lagos State, a notorious traffic robber identified as Ali ‘m’ has been apprehended.

According to a statement by Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, the suspect was captured on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, as a result of the collaborative efforts of residents and law enforcement.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the arrested individual, who masqueraded as a beggar along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, engaged in criminal activities by menacing unsuspecting motorists.

Operating under the threat of violence, he allegedly robbed them of both cash and valuables.

Hundeyin disclosed that the suspect will face charges once the investigative process is concluded.
