Brazilian singer Darlyn Morais dies after spider bite

Brazilian singer Darlyn Morais, aged 28, tragically passed away on November 6, following a spider bite he sustained at his residence in the city of Miranorte in northeastern Brazil on October 31.

Morais experienced an allergic reaction to the spider bite, which was located on his face, and he was subsequently hospitalized the following Sunday.

His 18-year-old stepdaughter also suffered a spider bite and was hospitalized but is reportedly in stable condition.

Morais’ wife, Jhullyenny Lisboa, revealed that his condition worsened over the week, and the color of the bruise on his face began to change due to the bite.

Morais initially sought treatment at a hospital in Miranorte after developing allergic reactions and was discharged on the following Friday.

According to Lisboa, he felt weakness in his body, and his face started to darken on the same day as the spider bite occurred.

Darlyn Morais was involved in the music industry from the age of 15, specializing in the forró genre, which is a popular style in Brazil’s northeast region featuring instruments like the accordion, zabumba, and metal triangle.

His musical group consisted of his brother and a close friend, with whom he shared his passion for music.
