Nigerian hip-hop artiste, Phenom, has expressed deep regret for turning down a record deal offered by Grammy-winning singer and CEO of Starboy Entertainment, Wizkid, several years ago.

In a recent episode of the “Terms and Conditions” podcast, Phenom revealed that he had received tempting offers not only from Wizkid but also from Olamide and other prominent figures in the Nigerian music industry.

At the peak of his career, Phenom declined these offers due to his unwavering loyalty to his former record label, Knight House, where he was under contract at the time.

He reflected on the missed opportunity, explaining that his career might have taken a more prosperous path if he had accepted Wizkid’s offer.

Phenom stated, “Wizkid approached me at some point, and we had great chemistry. He wanted me on his team and proposed that we collaborate on my album.

However, I was committed to my existing label, and I value loyalty.
