Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen launched a fatal attack in Mbaayaar village located in the Logo Local Government Area of Benue State on the night of November 6, 2023.

This devastating incident resulted in the loss of three lives, with several others sustaining injuries.

Among the victims was a final year student at Taraba State University, Jalingo, who had recently returned home to spend time with family.
