The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, sought to allay concerns about the possibility of a military coup in Nigeria during his recent official visit to the 6 Division of the Nigerian Army Headquarters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

He emphasized the commitment of the Armed Forces of Nigeria to protect and uphold democracy and urged Nigerians not to worry, even as neighboring countries have experienced coups.

General Musa underlined the military’s dedication to securing and supporting democracy and ensuring the safety and well-being of the nation’s citizens.
