NASENI finalizes $200m procurement agreement with REA

The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has reached a significant achievement by finalizing a $200 million procurement agreement with the Rural Electrification Agency (REA).

Khalil Suleiman Halilu, the Executive Vice Chairman of NASENI, revealed this momentous deal during his inaugural televised media interaction at the agency’s headquarters.

This partnership underscores the REA’s dedication to acquiring equipment from NASENI, highlighting the agency’s ongoing collaborations and increasing interest from diverse stakeholders.

NASENI’s Director of Information, Olusegun Ayeoyenikan, conveyed this news in an official statement, underlining the agency’s commitment to transparency and its focus on meeting the high expectations of stakeholders.

He further emphasized that NASENI’s Research and Development (R&D) efforts would soon yield products available in the Nigerian market during the first quarter of 2024.
