Real Madrid has officially announced that Brazilian forward Rodrygo Goes has signed a contract extension with the club, keeping him at the Santiago Bernabeu until June 30, 2028.
This renewal comes in the same week that his compatriot, Vinicius Junior, also extended his contract with the club until 2027.
The 22-year-old winger, Rodrygo, has been a vital player for Real Madrid, despite facing some struggles in his form this season.
He notably secured Real Madrid’s first Copa del Rey trophy since 2014 by scoring a crucial brace against Osasuna in May.
Since joining the club in 2019, he has made 179 appearances and scored 39 goals, contributing to Real Madrid’s achievements, including two La Liga titles and the 2022 Champions League.
Rodrygo’s extension is a testament to his importance to the club’s future plans as Real Madrid continues to strengthen its squad.
