Adeleke appoints 309 board chairmen and members

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has given his approval for the appointment of a total of 309 individuals to various non-statutory boards, as well as chairmen, secretaries, and members of Local Government Education Boards.

The official announcement, made by the governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, confirmed that the appointments are effective immediately.

The appointees will serve on a variety of boards, including those for state-owned tertiary institutions, such as the Osun State University.

Members have been appointed to boards related to religious pilgrimages, internal revenue, and cultural affairs, among others.

The appointments also encompass positions on the state Universal Basic Education Board and the Local Government Service Commission Board.

Importantly, individuals have been designated to serve on the Local Government Education Boards for each of the 30 local government areas and area offices within the state.

Governor Adeleke has charged the newly appointed individuals with a commitment to strictly adhere to the rule of law, due process, and procurement regulations in all their endeavors.

He has also urged them to contribute to the development and progress of the state.

For the Osun State University’s governing council, the appointed members include Gbadeshin Lawal, Prof. David Oladeji, Tunji Omole, Olawale Oludayo, Hassan Adegoke, Prof. Aworemi, and Dr. Kamoru Kadiri.
