Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has announced the appointment of 24 new Permanent Secretaries within the state’s civil service.
The development was communicated through a press statement issued by the Secretary to Abia State Government, Professor Kenneth Kalu, on Wednesday.

The statement clarified that these appointments resulted from the examination interviews conducted for prospective Permanent Secretaries in recent times.
Among the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are individuals such as Ngozi Queen Obioma, Paul Ogwubunka, Uche Ukpabi Ukeje, Okezie Godwin Chukwudike, and Justice Oluchi.

Additional appointees include Ogechi I. Maduka, Izuchukwu Onwughara, Obi-Chianakwalam, Agatha Chinagozi, and Bright Adindu.
The statement extends congratulations to the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries and urges them to visit the office of the Secretary to the State Government to receive further directives.
