Troops from the Nigerian Army successfully eliminated a notorious wanted bandit known as Mai-Nasara in the Sangeko Forest of Kebbi State.
Two suspected bandits believed to be part of the same gang were killed during the operation.
This achievement was reported in a press release issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kebbi State, Ahmed Aliyu, on Monday.
AbdulRahman Usman, the Director of Security at the Cabinet Office in Birnin Kebbi, provided details on the operation’s success.

He praised the efforts of the security personnel in their fight against criminal activities, particularly in the southern region of the state.
Usman also called on residents to offer their cooperation and support to the security forces.
He emphasized the importance of the community’s assistance, urging them to provide credible intelligence to help the security agencies effectively combat crime and restore peace to the region.
