Timi Frank, former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called for the immediate removal of Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, accusing him of orchestrating a plot to impeach Rivers State Governor, Siminilaye Fubara.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Frank criticized the police’s actions in using tear gas and water cannons on Fubara.

He called on the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to promptly replace the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State due to the perceived biased conduct of his officers against the elected Governor of the state.

Frank asserted that Wike’s dismissal was imperative to prevent him from tarnishing Tinubu’s administration and damaging the reputation of the APC.

He accused Wike of initiating actions to cause outrage among Nigerians and foster hatred against Tinubu and the APC’s administration.

Frank further claimed that Wike’s actions were motivated by his ambition to contest the presidency in 2027 and said that he was willing to take any measures necessary to fulfill his political goals.
