Lagos state secures $1.352b partnership for fourth mainland bridge

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has entered into a partnership with the African Export-Import Bank and Access Bank to support long-term infrastructure projects in the state.

This collaboration was formalized at the Africaribbean Trade and Investment Forum 2023 in Guyana and will focus on significant initiatives, including the Fourth Mainland Bridge, Omu Creek Project, and the second phase of the LRMT Blue Line from Mile 2 to Okokomaiko.

Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized his administration’s commitment to shaping a brighter future for Lagos through these transformative endeavors.

He announced this partnership on X (formerly Twitter) and stated that it marks a significant milestone, with a massive investment of $1.352 billion secured for Lagos.

He mentioned that this investment would power long-term infrastructure projects, demonstrating confidence from both international and local partners in Lagos’ growing economy.
