The Gan Allah Vigilantes in Kwara State successfully apprehended four individuals suspected of planning to kidnap a prominent chief (bale) and his wife in Oke-Ode, Ifelodun Local Government Area.
The suspects had approached the vigilantes seeking assistance, including an AK-47 weapon to carry out their plan.
The vigilantes decided to cooperate with the suspects, leading to their arrest when they arrived to collect the requested weapon.
The individuals, identified as Adeyemi Saheed, Adeyemi Lukman, Johnson Samuel, and another, have now been handed over to the police.

Ali Mohammed Jounwiro, Chairman of the Gan Allah Fulani Development Association (GAFDAN), emphasized that their community has often faced false accusations, resulting in unwarranted attacks.
He believes that the arrest of these suspects will help reveal the identities of other individuals involved in kidnapping activities in Kwara State and other parts of the South West.
Ajayi Okasanmi, the spokesperson for the state Police Command, confirmed the incident and stated that the suspects are currently in custody as investigations continue.
