Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, is currently in an emergency meeting with some members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

The suspended leader of the House, Edison Ehie, is also in attendance.

The meeting is believed to be related to the recent political crisis in the state, which included the suspension of the House leader and six other members.

Journalists are awaiting a briefing from the Governor following the meeting.
