A Federal High Court in Lagos has adjourned the continuation of the trial of Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, who is facing charges related to cybercrime.
The trial will resume on November 13 and 30 after Naira Marley was absent from court.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is prosecuting Naira Marley on charges of cybercrime.
The charges were filed on May 14, 2019, and the court had granted him bail in the sum of N2 million with two sureties of the same amount.

The EFCC alleges that Naira Marley and his associates conspired to use various Access Bank ATM cards for fraudulent activities. The trial, which has been ongoing, is set to continue at the next scheduled dates.
Recently, Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry, were detained by the Lagos police in connection with the death of Nigerian artiste Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Despite a production order by the court, Naira Marley remained absent during the court proceedings. The case will continue on November 13 and 30.
