Bouncers prevented me from meeting Burna Boy – Whitemoney

Big Brother Naija Season 6 winner, Whitemoney, recently shared an incident where he was prevented from meeting Burna Boy at a party in Lagos.

Contrary to speculations, he clarified that it was his own security personnel who stopped him from approaching the Grammy-winning singer.

During an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Whitemoney stressed the importance of celebrities maintaining a connection with their fans.

He compared fans’ support to political votes, highlighting that fans and supporters contribute to celebrities’ success by consuming their music and content.

Whitemoney recounted the party incident, stating, “We were at a party, and I heard that Burna Boy had just walked in.

I’m a huge fan of Burna; left where I was because I wanted to go and greet him. I asked if I could say hi to Burna, and they asked why? That was when I just withdrew, so people thought it was his bouncers bouncing me, but it was my bouncer that told me, ‘Oga make we comot for here.'”

He emphasized that fans and supporters play a crucial role in celebrities’ rise to stardom and career success, and celebrities should value and engage with their supporters who have contributed to their achievements.
