Barcelona’s manager, Xavi, took a moment to discuss their recent 2-1 loss to Real Madrid on Saturday. The match saw Jude Bellingham scoring twice in the second half for Los Blancos, overturning Barcelona’s initial lead.
Xavi expressed his belief that his team deserved a better outcome: “We dominated for about 60 minutes, but that’s football.
We needed five or six opportunities to score, while they managed to convert two or three chances into two goals.

That’s the key difference. Our lack of effectiveness was apparent. We executed our plan well, displayed composure and patience… Perhaps I’m overstating it, but from the sidelines, it feels like we deserved to win,” Xavi commented.
The result now places Barcelona four points behind Madrid after 11 games.
