Former Big Brother Naija All Stars contestant, Venita Akpofure, has addressed misconceptions about her relationship with fellow housemate, Mercy Eke.

During an interview with media personality Toke Makinwa, Venita clarified that she and Mercy are not friends.

In the Season 8 edition of Big Brother Naija, the two contestants had appeared very close during their stay in the house. However, Venita explained, “I was not friends with Mercy before the show.

I do see her like once or twice a year at shows or parties because we are not in each other’s circle.”

Venita expressed surprise at the narrative from fans that suggested she had betrayed her friend, Mercy Eke. She went on to state that she harbors no ill will and has a clear conscience.
