Nigerian singer Omah Lay recently discussed his personal journey with religion in an interview with Wunmi Bello.

He opened up about his previous thoughts of converting to Islam and how his perspective changed with success.

Omah Lay, whose real name is Stanley Omah Didia, now believes in God but has moved away from traditional religious practices.

He mentioned that after achieving financial success, he transitioned from religion to a more personal connection with God.

Despite growing up in a Christian household and spending considerable time in church, he came to a point where he no longer found joy in religion.

At one time, he even considered converting to Islam.

Now, he’s reached a place in his life where he relies on his individual relationship with God rather than adhering to any particular religion.

Omah Lay expressed his uncertainty about religious texts and questioned their authenticity, emphasizing that he believes in a higher power that guides his life.
