Governor Pastor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State extended his congratulations to President Bola Tinubu for his Supreme Court victory, stating that this win effectively concluded the litigations stemming from the February 25, 2023 elections.
While acknowledging that Akwa Ibom State is under the control of the Peoples Democratic Party, Governor Eno expressed his commitment to collaborating with Tinubu’s administration to foster development in the state.

During a “Thank You Meeting” organized by Christian leaders in the state, Governor Eno assured the gathering of his dedication to leading a unified and prosperous Akwa Ibom State.
He pledged to use available resources wisely, especially considering the challenges posed by the removal of the oil subsidy, to ensure the maximum benefit for the people.
The governor emphasized the need to avoid divisive ethnic sentiments within the church community and encouraged the clergy to maintain unity, regardless of political or ethnic affiliations, to align with his administration’s goals.
Bishop Christian Nyong, the State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), commended Governor Umo Eno’s leadership and expressed the support of the church community for the present administration, emphasizing that the meeting represented various blocks within the church and aimed to enhance Christian support for the government.

Governor Eno urged unity and collaboration among the faithful, highlighting that division would only serve the interests of those who sought to disrupt their cohesion.
