Pedestrians along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway are expressing concern over the increasing incidents of open defecation along the highway.

The issue has become a significant public health problem, especially between Warewa and Mowe in the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Miscreants in the area have been using the culverts along the expressway for open defecation, leading to an unsanitary environment and strong odors.
