WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has issued a threat to take legal action against fellow boxer Oleksandr Usyk if their highly anticipated fight is delayed beyond the agreed-upon timeframe.
Last month, both fighters confirmed a deal to face each other in what would be the first undisputed heavyweight championship bout since Lennox Lewis.
As reported by ESPN, the proposed date for their clash is set for December 23, although it might be pushed to January 2024, depending on Fury’s outcome in the upcoming match against Francis Ngannou this weekend.

During an interview with Sky Sports, Tyson Fury stated that all necessary documents have been signed to secure the December date for their fight.
He sent a stern warning to Usyk, emphasizing that he is legally bound to fight in December as per the contract terms.
Any delay, he asserted, would constitute a breach of contract, leaving Usyk susceptible to a lawsuit.
