Josephine Otabor, famously known as Phyna and the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, recently voiced concerns about receiving death threats in the aftermath of a social media spat with music sensation Davido.

The altercation unfolded on social media when Phyna and Davido clashed on Wednesday. This disagreement stemmed from a tweet that criticized the reality star, which Davido had liked.

Phyna subsequently posted on her social media page, questioning what she had done to merit the negative attention.

In response to Phyna’s tweet, Davido clarified that he didn’t know who she was and that his earlier reaction was an honest mistake.

Davido’s response had a divisive impact on their respective fan bases. His supporters praised him for what they saw as exposing Phyna as a “clout chaser.”

In contrast, Phyna’s fans criticized him for disregarding her achievements as the 2022 Big Brother Naija winner.

On Thursday, Phyna disclosed that she had been inundated with numerous death threats in the wake of her social media feud with Davido.

She took to her social media handle to share her concerns and wrote, “I keep getting death threats, oh. I’m not an artiste, please don’t kill me. Everyone should stay in their lane. God is the ultimate judge.”
