Shamsudeen Abubakar, the Senior Special Assistant on Islamic Education to the Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Radda, lost his life in a car accident that occurred on Tuesday, October 17, near the Rigachikun area of the state.
His untimely death came less than two months after his appointment was announced and celebrated.
On the day of his passing, he was laid to rest in his hometown.

A member representing Malumfashi Constituency in the Katsina State House of Assembly, Aminu Ibrahim, and Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning, Bello Kagara, along with some of his personal aides, attended the funeral prayer and burial of the deceased.
Governor Radda also led a group of sympathizers during his visit to the family of the late aide.
At the burial ceremony, prayers were offered for the repose of Shamsudeen Abubakar’s soul, and wishes were extended for God to watch over his family.
The late aide to the governor is survived by three wives and four children.
