Conor McGregor, the UFC champion, will not face criminal charges in connection with allegations of sexual assault made against him in June.
The accusations stemmed from an incident during an NBA Finals game at the Kaseya Center, where a woman claimed that McGregor forcibly kissed her and subjected her to unwanted sexual advances, allegations vehemently denied by McGregor.
In a statement provided to the Daily Mail, McGregor’s attorney revealed, “After a thorough investigation, including a review of videos and interviews with eyewitnesses, the authorities have concluded that there is no case to pursue against my client, Conor McGregor.

As anticipated, this decision by the authorities confirms Mr. McGregor’s account of the evening. On behalf of my client, his family, and his fans, we are pleased this is now over.”
The alleged incident occurred on June 9 during a Denver Nuggets vs. Miami Heat game, which was the same night when the 35-year-old athlete inadvertently knocked down a mascot in a stunt gone wrong.
The woman had claimed that McGregor’s security informed her he was waiting for her in a restroom as she was leaving the arena, but McGregor consistently refuted any wrongdoing throughout the investigation.
