Nollywood actress turned politician, Tonto Dikeh, has made allegations regarding the political support behind Marlian Record boss, Naira Marley.

Her comments came in response to Naira Marley’s recent arrest by the police, who are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, known as Mohbad.

Lagos Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed Naira Marley’s arrest on Tuesday evening shortly after his return to Nigeria.

Naira Marley took to social media to announce his return and express his intention to cooperate with the ongoing investigation.

In a video circulating on social media, Naira Marley can be seen being escorted at the airport before being taken into police custody.

Reacting to the situation on her Instagram page, Tonto Dikeh voiced her concerns, suggesting that in a just society, Naira Marley would be in handcuffs instead of tweeting about his return.

She questioned who might be protecting Naira Marley, expressing her suspicion that he might have influential political figures supporting him.

The controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death has led to accusations against Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry, who have been implicated in the tragic incident due to documents and videos surfacing on social media, showing them allegedly subjecting Mohbad to bullying for leaving their record label.
