President Bola Tinubu has forwarded the names of three new ministerial nominees to the Senate. The nominees are Jamila Bio, Balarabe Abbas, and Olawale Olawande.

The Senate President, GodsWill Akpabio, announced these nominations during a plenary session on Tuesday.

Abbas Balarabe has been nominated as a replacement for the former Kaduna Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, who was initially designated to lead the Ministry of Power.

This fresh round of nominations comes just three months after the Senate approved 45 ministerial nominees for various portfolios.

The Senate couldn’t confirm Nasir El-Rufai and two other nominees previously due to security and other concerns.
