Comedian Russell Brand has vehemently denied facing “very serious criminal allegations” following the announcement of new sexual offence allegations against him by the police.
Brand, in a live social media video on Rumble, a platform known for promoting free speech, stated that his relationships had always been consensual.
The Metropolitan Police recently revealed that it had received multiple sexual offence allegations against Brand, both in London and elsewhere in the country, all of which are non-recent.
The police also mentioned providing specialist support to the women who made these allegations.
During his Rumble livestream, while not directly addressing the allegations, Brand criticized vaccines, big tech companies, and the media.
He mentioned being demonetized on platforms like YouTube and TikTok in the aftermath of these allegations and accused these platforms of censoring him.
He also expressed frustration at the mainstream media’s selective reporting and raised questions about certain issues being thoroughly investigated while others are ignored.
Brand further voiced his outrage at reports of the Empire State Building being illuminated to celebrate Pfizer’s vaccine developments, questioning the co-opting of national symbols by private corporations and the state of democracy in the country.
